Hi! I’m Becca.

I’m a white, cisgender woman (she/her). I grew up in the Midwest and have called Portland home for a long while now. I completed both my undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Michigan, where I earned my degree in social work.

Before entering private practice, I worked in a variety of social work and mental health settings, including Montessori and Head Start programs, hospice, foster care, community mental health, grief and loss groups, and group therapy practices. I even spent some time working in clothing boutiques and plant nurseries!

I was drawn to becoming a therapist in my mid-twenties because I noticed I felt most alive when having honest, meaningful conversations. I've always been curious about our inner worlds—how our experiences shape us and the ways we cope and adapt through life’s many inevitable challenges. Over time, I came to recognize that my natural inclination toward deep listening and curiousity was well suited to this work and a way that I could be helpful to others.

Outside of work, you'll find me watching movies, reading, taking neighborhood walks, spending time by the river, cooking, or working on various creative projects. I also like to support Portland's local music and art scenes, try new restaurants, tend to my native plant garden, and spend time with my human and dog companions.
